As I sit here writing this, I’m crossing my fingers that today is our last day of winter weather. We are just about a month out from our big family beach vacation and I’m already thinking about what I want to wear. For me, easy dresses are the perfect piece for summer and the beach. Comfortable, breezy and lightweight! I’ve rounded up some favorites above, plus a few items I already own like this tote (I have the plain version, but I LOVE the embroidery on this one!), this dress and this fun “Out of Office” hat that’s so perfect for vacation!
This will be our first family beach trip with my side of the family and all my sisters, all their kids and my parents. Nailing down a date that works for 4 different families, literally took so long to sort out, but we did it. It’s going to be a full-house, but so much fun. Other than the guys golfing one day, we have no set plans, honestly just the way I like it. Beach days, swimming pool, bike rides and so much sunshine. I don’t know if there’s a better way to kick off our summer!
I’m also excited because travel always gives me this surge of creative energy, inspiration and motivation so when I get home, I can hit the ground running with fresh new ideas.
