It’s mid-October and we are officially starting to feel like fall—a miracle! Because this weekend was HOT and I’m honestly sick of wearing tank tops. I want cold, crisp mornings, extra coffee (or matcha really), hot tea in the afternoon, and earlier sunsets.
As part of that, I start focusing more on getting our house feeling extra cozy and settled before winter. So, enter my new series, The Home Edit, where I pull some tried and true favorites, things I’m eyeing and things I just think look super cool to inspire us all to make our homes a little bit more US!

Heirloom Tomato Candle: This is hands down my favorite candle! I’m finding that I go through the regular size in about a month—I typically burn it while I sit down to write or work. It sets the mood perfectly and smells HEAVENLY. A bit earthy, a bit herby and a bit peppery. Just like a fresh summer garden.
Hand-Tufted Wool Rug: We have this rug in our bedroom and it’s so soft underfoot and has the best neutral colors that go with just about anything! It did shed for a bit at first, but it doesn’t continue to shed. Still so happy with this purchase!
Glass Cordless Lamp: I love that cordless lamps just keep getting more chic! This one has a beautiful glass bottom and you get to pick your lamp shade. Perfect for small spaces like a coffee table or dining table!
Dining Chair: How gorgeous are these dining chairs? Gorgeous carved wood spindle legs and arms and a bold fabric to add some pizazz to your dining area.
Glass Hurricane Vase: Love a good hurricane vase and the details on the edges, the pedestal and the bubble glass make this one extra special!
Banquette Bench: I have no where for a bench in my house, but seriously wishing that I did. I love the fun print and color combinations.
Plaid Fabric Mirror: We’ve been looking for a new mirror for our guest bathroom and I love this blue and white plaid fabric one! Such a fun touch to add whimsy to a small space.
Pomegranate Salt & Pepper Shakers: These pewter pomegranate salt and pepper shakers are one of those things your grandchildren will fight over one day.
Decorative Swan: Another funky piece that people will notice and ask about! Place dried flowers in it, or fill with fruit for a fun centerpiece.
Embroidered Pillow: Warm, fall tones in this gorgeous pinky-mauve pillow. I live with all boys and this is the perfect way to sneak in some pink 😉
Black Ceramic Lamp: I have this lamp and it’s a favorite! Big, sturdy and has a dimmer on it which makes it easy to set the right vibe.
Lottie Armchair: OBSESSED with this fun chair. The details on the wood are gorgeous and the fun print just makes this one a total show-stopper!
