January is one of those month’s that notoriously creeps by, but this year for whatever reason, it flew by. It was cold too, so thank goodness because being cooped up with two little boys for weeks on end was starting to get old. We got a nice break this week and the temperatures were warm and sunny and it had me instantly craving spring. I’m one of those people that as soon as the holidays are done, I’m pretty much ready for warm weather again.
It sparked me to clean up the garden and get it a little bit more prepped for growing season, as well as get a jumpstart on some home projects that have been swirling around my head for quite some time. Most of all, it’s had me browsing fun, colorful items that just feel happy and joyful. This list is just a few things that I came across lately that I loved! They’re all linked above, and I’ve highlighted a few items below:
Clare V Woven Bag: I think this will be the year I finally add one of these gorgeous Clare V bags to my collection. I can’t decide between this messenger bag and the grande fanny. It’s been on my wishlist for over a year and really the only thing holding me back is deciding on which style and then which color. I love the check and also love the green or blue for spring.
Purple Glasses: I’ve been very into colored glassware lately—it’s such an easy and fun way to add some color to your tabletop without going crazy. These short purple wine glasses are so amazing and would be ideal for outdoor dining, hosting and everyday sipping. They come in more colors, but the purple is my personal fave.
Gingham Linen Sheets: We have a pair of striped linen sheets from Quince, so I can attest to their comfort and softness! These green gingham ones are so cute and I thought would be perfect for our guest room or even one of my son’s rooms. My oldest sleeps hot and I’m going to need to swap out his flannel sheets as it gets warmer.
Leopard Pumps: I’ve been seeing more and more leopard lately and I love it. It’s always been a favorite print of mine and adds such a fun pop to any outfit. If heels aren’t your thing, these flats are adorable too.
Quilted Jacket: I own a similar version of this and it’s the perfect light layer for spring time. The cozy quilted material is soft and adds a fun pattern and pop of color to your outfit.
